In order to properly respond to the spiritual problems in His People-EveryNation it is important to view the subject taking into central consideration the judgement of God.
If we see the problems of EveryNation as simply issues to solve and hope God helps us, we miss the point entirely. God is not our nanny who comes and just cleans up our mess after us. God is the judge. The sins of many EveryNation leaders in tolerating immorality, greed and personality cult ministry idolatory are an abomination against God. God is as a result currently judging the ministry. Unless there is serious repentance, God will continue to judge the ministry in increasingly harsher ways and that will hurt everyone - not only those who have sinned personally - but the ministry as a whole.
It is completely arrogant and incorrect for many EveryNation-His People leaders to assume that God is on their side, just because they think they are on God's side. Reality is that God is offended by much what has been happening in the ministry.
Many leaders sadly though don't fear the judgement of God. They bring the judgment of God on everyone else by being soft on sin and failing to exercise proper church discipline against scandal.
God has judged His People -EveryNation in many ways already and continues to do so - but foolish leaders seem to think this is the devil. They thus pray for God to help them in the crises, but fail to repent of their sin - so God does not help them. So one crisis is followed by another one.
Some Christians have lost a fear of God and think that they can do what they like because whatever they do - God will forgive them. This is really naive and shows a misunderstanding of grace.
If a Christian does not have a healthy fear of God, then he will have a greater fear of man - especially men in false religious authority and the loss of support from his peers - and fail to speak up for biblical morality and truth.
Therefore we have to change the leadership attitude in this ministry from one of arrogance to a healthy fear of God. Only then can true reform come.
The truth is that disobeying God is really dangerous. It is dangerous in this life and even more dangerous on judgement day.
The next time your pastor asks you to pray about some crisis in the church - ask him whether that crisis is maybe God's judgement for the sins of the church and that maybe it would help for the church to repent of its sins first before asking for God's help.
