Bill Bennot appears to be taking increasing responsibility for EveryNation oversight in Africa, although his exact status within the organisation is unclear.
Bill founded Marantha church at Wits University Johannesburg. After Maranatha disbanded, this church merged with the recently planted His People Johannesburg and Bill became senior pastor, with Bruce Weyers as junior pastor. At the same time, Bill became vice-President of His People International.
Bill assisted with the oversight and support of some other young churches in South Africa, including Grahamstown and Durban, although he was not involved in the planting.
In his younger years, Bill was involved in the pro-life movement - being a member of Operation Jericho involved in picketing abortion clinics in the USA. In South Africa he encouraged members of His People Johannesburg to support Pro-life South Africa.
He returned to America recently for family related reasons, leaving His People Johannesburg in the care of Roger Pearce.
