Sorry to bring some of Factnet's luggage along to the station, but it does seem to be lost luggage for now with all the unanswered questions.
Has Phil Bonasso officially been demoted for financial mismanagement or because he daughter had a fling with one of EN's golden boys? Sorry the EN communique leaked to Factnet does not explain this nor does explain why the 3rd member of the International Apostolic team has been sidelined for now. Surely full disclosure would end all the rumors. Or is Bonasso to be wiped of the annals of the glorious history on the QT?
Leaks from the Palm Springs senior leaders meeting indicate that repentance on this was forced and incomplete. Is this true?
The EN leadership found it necessary to send in a whole team to investigate one of its apostle's own ministries. Does no one find this interesting? Perhaps a team needs to go in and scrutinize CfC's history as well or is that money under the bridge already? What about a team to investigate Broocks and Murrell individually. Can the new regional leadership teams manage this? Perhaps the experience of the seasoned Maranatha leaders in each regional team will help spot the old problems of authoritarianism, legalism and hypocrisy.

Even important people inside have different beliefs about Phil... He's in ... he's out.. he's getting retooled... he's out for life.... I think that is because you really have two factions inside.. You have those that want Business As Usual.. and don't really see any real problems, and then you have those that are very upset and want some serious reforms. People say what they hope is really the case sometimes I think.
Latest is that they think Phil really has not done any significant wrong, aside from unwise building of his churches... so I expect him to be back at some point soon, although not in a high ranking role.
