I would be interested in others opinions on the question of whether Steve Murrell would make a better leader of EveryNation than Rice Broocks?
I was rather happy with Rice when he kicked out Paul Daniel, but people say his authoritarianism is even worse than Paul Daniel and he seems unwilling to tackle the various ethical problems that need to be sorted out in His People. The question is: 'Would Steve Murrell do any better?'

Or will do any better? He is functionally the head of EN now that he is Chairman of the ENC Board of Directors.

Well again, it's unclear how much power Murrell has exactly. The same other guys are still involved and very influential. If Murrell really has the most authority, then I think that under his leadership things will improve, especially in the control department. Honestly, in general EN has improved slowly and consistently in this area for a long time. Unfortunately at the rate it's going, I would estimate at least 10 years before something "normal" might emerge, probably closer to 20.
Don't look for salary/money concerns to be truly fixed. Rice takes a bit of a pay cut, but still makes more than 95% of Americans. When they give the axe to MPD and all start making regular salaries, then I'll say probably are really being fixed. Based on what I've heard I'm not expecting a lot of financial transparency either. Hope they prove me wrong.
Based on the sermon tape that was posted on factnet a while back, Steve definitely has a different theology of discipleship, so if that takes root, things will definitely get better.

This is very good news. From what I hear form others, Steve Murrell doesn't draw a ridiculous salary, doesn't have a personality cult and doesn't try control people unnecessarily. I suppose the question will be whether he has the courage to deal with the root issues behind EveryNation's multiple scandals and abuses? I would expect he will need all the help and support he can get.
